Blind faith is believing something without reason or evidence, or unquestioningly believing something that is unreasonable or wrong. It can also refer to believing someone's words or intentions without hesitation.

Take an example of my blogs written regularly over the last three or four years. Over 850 have been written. They are promoted on Facebook and LinkedIn, alas few likes are received. Actually, most of the likes are my own via my pc and mobile. Imagine getting just two likes, and they are your own! How many of you would give up after a few weeks, a month, 3 or 4, or a year?
Having blind faith in what you believe isn’t a guarantee for success, but it shows firmness which is needed to navigate the world’s oceans in one’s quest to get on.
It isn’t for everyone! However, those who embrace it and sail the seas discover limits; what are they able to achieve.
Examples of blind faith:
Believing a leader or authority figure without question
Believing a person's words or intentions without hesitation, even if there is a chance that they could be untruthful
Believing something without true understanding, perception, or discrimination
Blind faith in relationships:
In personal relationships, blind trust could mean believing a person's words or intentions without hesitation.
Blind faith in religion:
Some people use the term "blind faith" as a negative, disparaging term to describe anyone who believes in God. However, faith is not always blind.
Like I’ve said before, we are much more than we think. Shangri-la is achievable whether we believe it, or not!
All the best,
Prof. Carl Boniface
