You either hate or love him! Bolsonaro is back! Fans take to the streets to show how much they love him, even though others thought he acted like a complete buffoon when he was the president of Brazil.
Former president Jair Bolsonaro of the Liberal Party (PL) was stranded on the PA 275 highway, at the entrance to the Pará municipality of Parauapebas, due to a blockade caused by protesting farmers linked to the Federation of Workers in Family Agriculture (Fetraf). The act was a protest against Bolsonaro's arrival in the borough.
The road closure occurred between 9 am and 10 am, and was attended by around 200 people. According to the protesters, the blockade is a response to the neglect that the Bolsonaro administration had in relation to family farming in the county (state) of Pará. They highlighted the closure of the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA) in the last government and the interruption of agricultural reform in the state.
“Family farmers will never forget the many years of neglect with the production of healthy food sector”, said Noemi Gonçalves, a coordinator of Fetraf in Pará. The blockade was lifted after about an hour.
Bolsonaro was traveling through the municipalities of Pará to support the launch of pre-candidacies and affiliations of the Liberal Party (PL) in the State. Once he arrived, he received a mega conglomerate of fans who praised him like a rock star!
