International expansion

  • GWM is one of the first Chinese auto enterprises to go global

  • GWM began exporting vehicles in 1998

  • GWM has market layout in more than 60 countries and regions

Technology

  • GWM is a leader in autonomous driving and both battery electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles

  • GWM is a pioneer in researching and developing cutting-edge technologies like 5G, Autopilot, and V2X

On a field trip a GWM dealership in São Paulo was visited at the weekend. After being greeted at the reception where a buffet was being offered, one salesman explained how to use the capsuled expresso machine. Nice ‘cafezinho’ short shot of espresso!

Rafael was happy to show me a Haval H6 1.5 HEV2. Currently priced for a brand new one at R219,000.00 (US$38,200.00). That particular model looked impressive size wise, but when he opened the driver’s door the interior design and spaciousness really portrayed true class.

There was an instant connection and desire to drive a GWM Haval by its overall impression including it’s shiny black wheel rims. The GWM Haval typically comes with 17-inch wheels, but you can upgrade to 18 or 19-inch wheels.

GWM is a brand to be reckoned with, or at least it will be a household name in the foreseeable future.

Take care!
