So, you think you know what is going on around the world. Well, think again because there are terribly sick people who thrive from devastation with no regard for killing children, taking civilian hostages, and causing chaos.
If the end aim had merit, then there would be a definable solution that would serve the human race. However, in the case of Hamas, the final solution is wiping out the Jews from Israel. Not in the slightest an acceptable proposition for humanity. To the contrary, an act of aggression not seen since 9/11.
The Hamas invasion of Israel was a calculated one, expecting to rile the country to retaliate. It worked, and as we have seen, Israel has already responded. Now the IDF is about to start a ground offensive in north Gaza and have called for the evacuation of 1.1 million Palestinians. Hamas rejects calls for citizens to leave.
Hamas have bigger plans that involve joining forces with Hezbollah from Lebanon and Arab sympathizers for the Palestinian cause like Iran and Syria. They have a dream to annihilate the Israeli Jews and dominate Palestine, the area it was called before becoming Israel in 1947.
In 1947, the United Nations adopted Resolution 181, known as the Partition Plan, which sought to divide the British Mandate of Palestine into Arab and Jewish states. On May 14, 1948, the State of Israel was created, sparking the first Arab-Israeli War.
The Palestinian Arab leadership rejected partition as unacceptable, given the inequality in the proposed population exchange and the transfer of one-third of Palestine, including most of its best agricultural land, to recent immigrants.
This unacceptance was filibustering acts to obstruct a peaceful settlement, so much so that throughout the entire history of Arabs in the region were unaccommodating to find a solution in which the Arab and Jewish communities could live harmoniously.
Hamas are a Palestinian group of hardliners who will do whatever it takes to free occupied Palestinian territories while calling for the annihilation of Israel. Hamas has carried out suicide bombings and over the years fired tens of thousands of increasingly powerful rockets from Gaza into Israel.
All the best!
