Hawaii, USA

As a growing up lad in a London suburb in the 70s, my brothers and I relished watching Hawaii Five O, the longest-running American Police drama series on television in the evenings. Captain Steve McGarrett used to intrigue me as this cool and sophisticated crime solver!

Taking a vacation in Hawaii must be a really great adventure. Hawaii is known for its beautiful beaches, some of them with unusual colors. Many beaches are filled with white sand, but other Hawaiian shores are covered with green, red, pink, and even black sand. Whether you like hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, swimming, or just sitting on the beach, Hawaii is the state for you.

Hawaii, constituent state of the United States of America. Hawaii (Hawaiian: Hawai'i) became the 50th U.S. state on August 21, 1959. Hawaii is a group of volcanic islands in the central Pacific Ocean.

The native Hawaiian people have unique food and culture which makes their island home the more fascinating of the US states. On the islands you'll experience some of the most delicious traditional food you'll find in the world.

To top it all off it has a slower Pace of Life. Not everyone realizes that Hawaii has a culture all its own. People love living in Hawaii because of its laid-back culture, where everyone is living on island time. Simplicity and a slower pace are values held by the majority of Hawaiians, making for a relaxing culture.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is one of the best places to start for fun facts about Hawaii and its volcanoes. The park is home to the Kilauea volcano, the most active volcano in the world, and Mauna Loa, the largest active volcano in the world.

Of the eight major islands, Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai have major tourism industries, while it is limited on Molokai and Lanai and access to Niihau and Kahoolawe is prohibited. The state's favorable climate, tropical landscape, beaches, and culture make it among the U.S.'s most visited states.

I’m dying to go there myself, so on my “must visit” list. The only reason I haven’t booked earlier is that from São Paulo, Brazil, it takes over twenty hours by plane. Actually, there must be cruises that visit for the day, so that would be a no excuses please!

Have a great day!
