You can’t make everyone happy, and it doesn’t matter how hard you try. Over the course of the English Premiership League Championship there will be much upset and controversy which goes hand in hand with football team performance.
As you can see in the table above, there are some unsettling results. Liverpool, who are still top of the league had their skill tested when Manchester United managed a 2-2 draw on Sunday January 5th.
Arsenal who lost at home to Newcastle 0-2 on Tuesday 7th January in the first round of the league cup semi-final, also only managed a draw in their Premiership match over the weekend against Brighton.
The biggest upset has been the opening season for Manchester City who got off to a bad run, and Pep Guardiola said Manchester City are "absolutely not" back to their best despite dismantling West Ham United 4-1 in the Premier League on Saturday. Erling Haaland bagged a brace as the champions earned back-to-back victories for the first time since October to suggest their dramatic slump could be over.
It is an exciting time for Premiership football clubs, and it is expected to be more intense as the season continues.
Take care!

A brace is when a player scores exactly two goals in a single soccer match. It does not matter when the two goals are scored by the player within the match -- one can come in the first minute and the other can come in the last minute -- it would still count as a brace. 2023 Women's World Cup Schedule.
