Everyone wishes to have a miracle cure when things get tough, especially when there is a Catch-22, but one football team that made it happen in 2023 is Brazilian Palmeiras club when they won the League trophy “Brasileirão”.
Catch-22 is a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting dependent conditions. For example, Brazilian Bota Fogo had a ten-point advantage over second place Palmeiras in 2023, but in the closing stages Palmeiras came out stronger while Bota Fogo had a bad run. No one can predict what is going to happen, and football is no exception to the rule.
One thing is for sure, luck isn’t always on your side. Luck is one of those things you work for. I mean, if you want to win the lottery, first of all you need to participate. How could you ever win if you avoided betting?
End results cannot be predicted whilst having the attitude of a winner can make all the difference. Failure doesn’t have to be negative, but rather we learn from our mistakes. Often mistakes aren’t made, but consequences don’t necessarily go the way envisaged.
As long as effort is sincerely being made then a person should hold their head up high because they have done as well as possible. Confidence is borne from a good attitude, hard work, and a burning desire to succeed.
