New Smartphone Demand Down

Atualizado: 24 de set.

Even with the lure of new technology, new smartphone demand is down (see report). Lately, new phones don’t leap in technology, and owners can’t detect much difference. This might have been what Fernando Montera Filho predicted when he set up Doji with two business partners from Britain’s Oxford University graduates in 2021. He understood there was potential for the used mobile market.

It became obvious there were many smartphones in good to great condition that had been replaced for the newest technology. This meant many used mobiles in excellent condition could still be used by those not as insistent in having the extra bells and whistles. Certainly, buying second hand would be a cheaper option in today’s market while smart choice for ECO sensitivity, especially in a time of global warming.

Doji came up with a state-of-the-art turnkey platform that made buying and selling used mobiles a simple process for even the dumbest online users who could buy and sell online by hitting a few keys and setting the wheels in motion. It started out and worked in the United Kingdom and made headway over time.

Personally, I’m very grateful for being given the opportunity to help Fernando’s team to develop English comprehension while building their confidence to facilitate online team meetings in English which in the startup’s beginning meant frequent discussions with Doji employees in their UK's office locations.

Back in those days Doji IT staff had many Brazilian Wizkid’s tweaking the platform to make it more user-friendly, and efficient for the general public. Doji streamlined, and streamlined until they were seeing regular market improvements. Together they created the impetus and momentum to take reusable quality mobiles one step further by reactivating usage countrywide.

Earlier this year Doji opened offices in Brazil which encouraged further improvements to the system. The team have continued contributing enthusiastically because they know that if customers feel safe, it builds trust, and the system they have developed is turnkey supremacy. Resellers work alongside Doji in their quest to be best and maintain total customer satisfaction.

Technically speaking Doji are way ahead of the competition with the competitive edge, as Fernando, an already successful entrepreneur has been astute in seeking the best, and only the best formula to provide cutting edge advantages to help those in the mobile market.

At the end of the day his vision has filled a gap to not only help the used cellular market’s rotativity, but also facilitate people by making sure they purchase high-quality smartphones at reduced prices while selling their used ones and putting some extra cash in their pocket.

If that isn’t an incentive worth giving then what is?

Take care!
