Omicron UK

As the present center of Omicron worldwide with thousands of contaminated citizens on a daily basis, no wonder the increase keeps rising due to a distinct population of don’t tell me what to do, I know best, unvaccinated while maskless Bolsonaro style activists roam around the streets.

Over a hundred people have been fined for not wearing face coverings on London's transport network since it was made mandatory, it has been revealed. Compulsory face coverings were reinstated amid rising concerns about the Omicron variant of Covid-19. Fines up to £200 were issued to 152 people on Tuesday 21st, the day masks became mandatory on public transport again, Transport for London said.

I also bought weekly groceries from Sainsbury’s supermarket late Tuesday, my mum’s preferred choice. Four heavy bags later, I walked over to the other side of the high street to catch the 151 bus. Few people were waiting at the bus stop. The third bus to pull in was mine. In front of the queue, I got in (or on) first followed by a rather chubby maskless women in her thirties. Then a middle-aged guy asked the conductor (ticket attendant) as well as the driver if he could get on. He came up with a story about being without a bus pass (oyster card) and had his wallet stolen. He was allowed onboard for the ride.

The maskless lady sat opposite me on the other side of the bus. Making casual conversation I turned to her and mentioned the guy who most likely was used to using transport services for free. She acknowledged and told me it was common in the UK. Then she proceeded to spill out her opinion about virtually everything under the sun. I tried to appear interested. My neck started aching from the strain of bending it to appear interested. I suppose, I shouldn’t have opened my mouth in the beginning.

To cut a long story short, she started bragging about her condition of MS and that she was exempt from catching covid-19. Strange I thought, as if my memory served me correctly Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system).

When I mentioned that to reduce the transmission of Omicron people should all wear masks to avoid it, she got rather fired up and started attacking me. Fortunately, my final bus stop was around the corner because she started verbally abusing me.
