We live on planet earth which we call the world. There are one hundred and ninety-seven (197) countries in the world on seven (7) continents.
A continent is one of Earth's seven main divisions of land. The continents are, from largest to smallest: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.
There are currently 7,117 known languages spoken by nearly eight (8) billion people around the world, according to Ethnologue, widely considered to be the most extensive catalogue of the languages of the world.
The number one language of the world is English (one thousand, four hundred and fifty-two – 1,452 million speakers). According to the Ethnologue publication, English is the most-spoken language in the world including native and non-native speakers. Like Latin or Greek at the time, English has become the world's common language.
In other words, now is the time to learn English, as it provides a universal language that will benefit you for both business and socializing with foreign visitors to your country, international study, and travelling around the world.
English classes can be arranged at your convenience at home or in your workplace. Classes can be given conveniently online. The cost benefit for individual classes is really worthwhile and prices start at around $16.50 per hour.
